Michigan Chapter, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The Michigan Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society honored Great Lakes Yacht Club fund raising Chairman Tom Verbeke (on the right) and co-Chair Barnie Mathie at their annual meeting June 16, 2005. Great Lakes Yacht Club has been instrumental in raising over $250,000 in the last 6 year for the society with the annual Leukemia Cup Regatta held early in the spring sailing season on Lake St. Clair, just east of Metro Detroit.
